Dr. Hambleton is a full-service, full-time family physician who hasn’t let 24 years of doctoring experience dampen his enthusiasm for patient care.
Of course, Dr. Hambleton is a duly licensed and practicing physician in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Alberta in 1996, and completed a CCFP residency-training program in Family Practice through The University of British Columbia, at St. Paul’s Hospital in 1998.
The joy of learning and teaching is what keeps practicing medicine exciting. Dr. Hambleton indulges in teaching patients informally with every visit, and future doctors formally as a Clinical Associate Instructor for the University of British Columbia Medical School. Teaching the next generation of Medical Students and Residents.
His long list of sports injuries has inspired a passion for rehabilitation. And in addition to helping his patients recover from injury, he also injects a little humanity into providing services as a Disability Medical Consultant to several disability companies.
Dr. Hambleton is the Medical Director at Living Health since 2010. After years of hospital and clinic work, he envisioned and manifested a team that embraces the humanity and the humour of life in our healthcare system. He truly embraces his relationships with patients at Living Health.
